Dear Fourth Grade Parents,
I pray you enjoy your summer vacation. I look forward to seeing all of you next year. Please click on the summer homework and supply list for fourth grade, so that you are prepared for the new school year of 2024-2025! Remember God gives us 168 hours in a week and asks us for only one on Sunday. Go to Mass every Sunday and visit Him.

Week of September 21st-25th

September 20, 2020/ Sr. Lena Pinto

Religion: We begin a new unit: Jesus Our Lord & Savior. Jesus gave us a New Commandment to help us understand the deepest meaning of the Torah. Jesus' New Law of Love calls us to love one another as God loved us.

Reading: read 25 minutes every night. We will begin a new unit: A Changing State. This unit focus on the State of California. Students will become familiar with their state's diverse landscape, traditions, and people, including a look into native living in early California, the San Francisco Earthquake, and the historical tour of Los Angeles.Students will also learn about the people who influenced change in the land and the events that affected the history of California.

Vocabulary: Unit 3. Word Associations, Latin Roots, Words in Context. Vocabulary Words (Dictation) this Friday.

Grammar: Unit 1 Lesson 7 Sentence Fragments and Run On Sentences.
