Weekly Update 10/8/2018

Good morning parents!

Thank you so much to all the families that joined us at Holy Eucharist for mass this weekend. It is so beautiful to see our sense of school community expanded beyond our campus. The regular patrons of the church commented on how well our students represented our school.

Tomorrow, Tuesday October 9th, will be our last day of swimming. As usual, we still need parent volunteers willing to get into the pool with the kiddo’s, so please send an email to Adrienne or myself to let us know if you are available. Thank you to everyone who has made time in their schedules over the past few weeks to assist us with this program. It is such a blessing to have the pool for the children to enjoy, and we could not have done it without you.

This Friday, October 12th is a half-day. Dismissal is at noon, so please make sure to note that on your calendars. As stated in an email last week, we will not be swimming this Friday. The kids will still have a short PE period, however, so please make sure they still come to school in their PE uniform. Also, this is the free-dress day for all October birthdays.

Our first field trip is only a few weeks away! As I complete the final touches on carpooling and paperwork, please do not hesitate to email me with any questions. I will keep you updated as the date approaches.

Finally, I wanted to let you all know that I will be out this Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately, I will not have access to my email either of these days, or on the weekend. I will respond to any questions or emails you may have the following Monday. If you have any questions or concerns while I am out, you may contact Mrs. LoBue in the office.

Thank you all so much for the continued support! I will post the homework for the week in a separate post.

Have a great week,

-Miss Jones
