Welcome

Welcome To Transitional Kindergarten

Welcome Salesian TK families !

I hope everyone had a nice and relaxing summer.  My name is Annie Enright and I am very excited to be teaching your children and to be welcoming you to the Salesian family.

My husband and I have lived in Watsonville for 22 years.  We have three children, our two sons are attending St. Francis High School and our daughter is in 4th grade here at Salesian. My family and I are members of Holy Eucharist Catholic Church and I have taught Religious Education for the past 3 years.  Before having children I attended Cabrillo College with a focus on Early Childhood Education and then continued my teaching education and graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor's degree in Child Development.

My goal is to make learning fun for each student.  I will strive to help students develop a love for learning and a love for God.   My lessons are designed to teach the foundational learning skills needed for kindergarten with a philosophy of reason, religion, and loving kindness.  Students will develop social and emotional skills, such as self-confidence and cooperation and early academic skills, such as learning numbers, counting, the alphabet letters, phonemic awareness, shapes, and colors.  I like to use music, movement, and storytelling to teach these foundational skills.

As a family we love going to the beach, hiking in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains, and exploring new places and experiences together.  I look forward to meeting all of you and building a relationship with your children.

God Bless,

Mrs. Enright
