Hello families!

I can’t believe October is here already!

We’re kicking off the week with new spelling words: clap, pet, fog, wig.

I will be sending home the past two graded spelling tests this week.

In math, we are continuing to work on addition methods. There are word problems in your child’s homework this week, and you might need to aid them by reading the text in order for their success.

October is a long and fun month, and it also means we’ll be setting off on our first field trip of the school year.

The Casa de Fruta Pumpkin Patch field trip will be on Monday, October 28th, 2019!

This field trip is combined with the Kindergarten and TK, and has become a fun tradition between the two grades over the years. Each child’s payment will include a little pumpkin of their choice from the patch.

Many parents have already turned in the necessary forms that were sent home last week, but I am still waiting on the $10/person payment due as well. If you have paid the office instead of myself please let me know!

Once we have all of the forms turned in we can start creating the carpool groups and send those to you :-)

We will be celebrating Adoration and Divine Mercy this Friday at 8:00 am in the Chapel for any family that would like to join us.
