Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am thrilled to take this opportunity to introduce myself, Sr. Anna Bui, as the new Principal of Salesian School, and to begin what I hope will be a strong and collaborative partnership with each of you.

Before I share more about myself, I would like to first acknowledge and introduce our esteemed leader, Sr. Quyen Pham. She brings visionary leadership and a deep commitment to excellence in education. Under her guidance, we continue to focus on student achievement, innovation in teaching, and building inclusive, supportive learning environments for every child. It is an honor to serve under a leader whose values so closely align with my own.

As your new principal, I bring with me over 30 years of experience in education-as a teacher, instructional leader, and as principal from San Francisco, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Louisiana. I have dedicated my career to creating learning environment where every child is seen, heard, and inspired to achieve their best. I hold a Master Degree in Leadership from University of San Francisco, a Master Degree in General Education and a Teaching Credential from Loyola Marymount University, and have pursued ongoing professional development in educational leadership, equity in education, and student-centered practices.

At the heart of my leadership, philosophy is a belief in collaboration, transparency, and relationship. I am committed to supporting academic excellence, nurturing social-emotional growth, and fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and innovation. I believe that when schools and families work together, students thrive-and that strong relationships are the foundation of any successful school community.

Over the coming weeks, I look forward to getting to know you, your children, and all the dedicated staff who make Salesian School such a special place. Please know that my office door is always open, I welcome your ideas, questions, and partnership as we work together to ensure every student has the opportunity to shine.
